They are better...not a WHOLE lot...read the books. They are better...not a WHOLE lot better but better. When I went and saw it in the theater I was laughing so hard I peed just a little. Really. They could have done so much better but nope. But then again maybe not.

The books, for me, are just fun quick reads. Nothing heavy duty but I do enjoy them.

McKenna LOVES, LOVES, LOVES, them. And she bought the CD and LOVES that as well. My mil bought us the DVD and she LOVES that as well. She's a Twilight geek.Just SOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09185859150181585109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5184949252759070782.post-69448137955603690142009-05-29T22:38:15.176-04:002009-05-29T22:38:15.176-04:00I only started to read the Twilight series because...I only started to read the Twilight series because my nieces read it and wanted to be able to talk about it with me. They are 12 to 14. To be honest it's not so much the content of the books, but what's going to happen next that sucks you in. I mean is she ever going to turn into a vampire? Is she going to end up with Edward? Jacob? Ah! What's going to happen? The end was decent, but definitely no Harry Potter by any means. (I super hate when people compare the two books, HP waaaaaaay better, no comparison.)

If I saw the movie without reading the books I would have thought the same thing, and it was pretty awkward.Tom and Julihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15930077783726649917noreply@blogger.com
